over it all.

Tee: Old Navy Men's (similar for $5!| Overalls: Old Navy  | Shoes: Target (similar| Bag: The Limited (love this one and this one| Sunnies: Amazon (knockoffs for Karen Walker Super Duper)

I named this post "over it all" because 1. I think it's a catchy play on words and 2. I'm over what people think of my overalls. Because, I think they're coming back into style AND they're probably the most comfortable thing I own. Plus you can totally make them chic.

For this look I kept it way casual. I chose to keep the comfort by wearing flats and a roomy tee from the Old Navy men's section. Hello sale

You could totally bump this look up to the next level by wearing some strappy heels and a more fitted top. Which I'll probably feature in the future. I'm also thinking I need a pair of short overalls too for the summer.  I've linked a bunch that I really like in the widget below plus the one's I'm wearing!

Let me know what you think of the overall trend!

tunic love.

Tunic: Aeropostale c/o (love this one too!) | Jeans: American Eagle | Necklace: Gorjana (from my Rocksbox!) | Shoes: Rocketdog (love Converse too!) | Sunnies: Amazon (knockoffs for Karen Walker)

I found this (what I call a) tunic at Aeropostale and fell in love! The print and shape are so flattering. I love the fitted top and flowy bottom! I call it tunic because of my 5'9" stature. However, Aeropostale calls it a dress. Sooo maybe if you're five inches shorter than me, it may work as a dress! Either way, I chose to pair it with some white skinny jeans, tennis shoes, and a gorgeous Gorjana necklace (which came in my latest Rocksbox). You can still get a free month using the code katexoxo2 but time is running out, so use it!

Also, who here has been hiding their red, itchy eyes behind sunnies and glasses?
*raises hand*
No matter the medicine or eye drops used, it's inevitable.
Hope you're enjoying your spring allergy free!

I know you all have heard me mention Rocksbox multiple times before, but I probably haven't fully explained it to you.
RocksBox is a service that sends you three pieces of jewelry to wear on loan. You take a little style quiz so your stylist can get a feel for what you like to wear. This way, you're getting worthwhile pieces in your box.

After your month is up, you can choose to send all the pieces back to get new ones or keep the ones you love at a discounted price (20% off!). Sending pieces back are so easy because every set comes with a pre-paid shipping label. I love it because I've never been a huge jewelry person. I wear the same pieces everyday. But this allows me to mix and match and wear pieces I maybe normally wouldn't.

The customer service is also great and you get $10 of Shine Spend a month to use on your products so you're essentially getting another discount on top of the 20% off.

I've really enjoyed all of the pieces I've received. I've bought two necklaces that I have linked in the widget below. The Gorjana V-Neck Necklace is my favorite and I wear it just about every day! Gorjana is probably my new favorite designer discovered through this. And I'll probably end up keeping these simple studs.

It is just $19 a month to receive a Rocksbox, BUT if you're reading this, you can get your first month FREE using the code katexoxo2

I really encourage you to at least try it out and treat yo self to a free month!

what I wore: Easter

Top: TJ Maxx (similar| Skirt: Ann Taylor LOFT | Jean Jacket: Ann Taylor LOFT | Shoes: Lauren Conrad (similar here and here| Sunnies: Amazon | Watch: Fossil (similar| V-Neck Necklace: Gorjana (get a free month of Rocksbox using the code katexoxo2)

I just wanted to give you all a quick look at what I wore yesterday for Easter! I got this skirt recently and LOVE it! The neon is perfect for spring and I love the texture it adds to the look. I paired it with a simple striped shirt and jean jacket (because it was pretty chilly yesterday)! Spring can be such a tease sometimes with the warm weather it hands out sparingly.
I'll probably style this skirt again and plan on wearing it to work this summer!
Hope you all had a wonderful Easter weekend :)
