I'm going to be real honest for a second. This is pretty much what I wear on a regular basis. Well, to class that is (which is what my schedule revolves around). With lots of walking on campus, I like to be as comfy as I can be. So leggings are kind of my staple. Which is why I like to mix it up by incorporating fun leggings into my wardrobe and bright pops of color.
Did I mention I'm completely in love with this beanie?
Well, I do and it's perfect for winter!

I had been wanting some ankle boots that didn't have much of a heel to them so I could wear them on a daily basis (tall probs) and I found such a great pair! They're currently on sale and I recommend going up half a size if they have them. I'm still figuring out the best ways to style them, so I cuffed some black jeans and added a pop of color with this sweater. Which, I think makes for a comfortable and cool look.

Happy Wednesday!

Dress: Boohoo | Leggings: Jane (printed leggings are always being feat. on this site) | Booties: F21 (love these!| Necklace: The Limited | Watch: Fossil (very similar)

I had previously styled this swing dress here. But for this look I wanted to make it weather appropriate, so I added some printed leggings and booties to combat the cold. If you go to a pretty casual church (like I do) this look would be perfect! Or even just dinner with friends. This black dress could easily be paired with a multitude of different printed leggings, so the matching opportunities are endless!

Also on a side note: I'm hoping now that I'm back at school I'll get in a better routine of posting more frequently. My family is moving in a couple of weeks so with the packing, going on vacation (which I'll be sharing about soon!), and settling back in at school...things have been hectic!

2014 favorites.

I'm a little late, but I still wanted to share my favorite looks from 2014! Just Kate turned two on New Year's day and what a incredible journey this has been. Blogging is a time commitment (bigger than I ever anticipated) but so rewarding at the same time. So I'll say it every year, thank you to any one who reads Just Kate and thank you to anyone who helps me along the way! (Especially my mom for taking a majority of my photos!)
