Kimono: Aeropostale c/o Tank: Aeropostale c/o Jeans: F21 | Sandals: Target | Bag: The Limited
Necklace: Aeropostale c/o

I recently posted this look as an #ootd on my instagram and just had to feature it on the blog. I'm in love with this kimono and could wear it every day. It gives any look the feeling of being effortlessly chic. I paired it with a simple tank and this fun feather necklace. I also layered a gold chain with it as well. This look is perfect for multiple occasions and I'll be reaching for this kimono a lot. Plus I'll most likely be adding more kimonos to my closet!
Happy Friday!!!

{P.S. Did you notice I finally have my own domain name?! I'm wayyy excited!}

what a treat!

Recently I was introduced to Treat and had to share it all with you. It's part of Shutterfly and allows you to customize your own greeting cards. The cards above are some I customized for a graduate and some friends having a baby. I decided to send them to myself so I could sign and include them with their gifts. However, I love the mobile app feature this brand offers! When I was away at school I was able to send my mom a Mother's Day card straight from my phone. You simply pick the card, customize, pick a date when you'd like for it to arrive, and they take care of the rest. I've been so happy with the results I've had with Treat and so have the recipients of the cards.
Check it out and let me know if you send any cards to loved ones using Treat!

this or that: floral dress

Dress: Aeropostale c/o  |  Necklace: Lia Sophia (similar)

So I have to share a story that happened just the other day. My best friend got married and all of the bridesmaids went and got our nails done before going to the lake. After about five hours of being together, another bridesmaid pointed out I was wearing two different shoes. So I posted a picture on Twitter making fun of my mistake and laughed it off. Flash forward three days (today) and I'm editing this post to put up. And figure out I did the EXACT same thing for these pictures. So please excuse the fact I'm wearing two different sandals in this post. Both pairs are from Target and very comfortable ;)
Anyways, I'm doing another "this or that" featuring this adorable floral dress. For this look, I kept it super simple by just adding sandals and a lilac necklace.
Be sure to check back soon for the next look!

boyfriend jeans.

Shirt: Tommy Hilfiger (similar)  Jeans: Aeropostale c/o   Shoes: Lauren Conrad   Bag: The Limited

I'm back! I'm finally finished with my second year of college and I can't believe where the time has gone. For this look today we're talking jeans. I just love a good pair of jeans. I mean, what girl doesn't? I've raved about a few of my favorites, but these boyfriend jeans are a new favorite. I find myself reaching for them continuously each morning. For this look I dressed them up a bit with a strappy heel and a collared oxford. All the while keeping it simple and anchoring the look with my beloved camel tote.

It's warming up, so sadly I don't have many weeks with these jeans until fall comes around. But we'll make it last (I'm ready for sweet summer time!)

I'll be back!

I had every intention of finishing out this semester strong while keeping up with my blog. Anddd well look how that turned out. So I'll be absent from the blogging world for at least another week. Until then I leave you with this adorable picture of my dog, Daisy. You can however find me on instagram: @kateaustin3!
