Happy Easter!

Dress: Judith March (boutique find / not sold online) | Shoes: Lucky Brand

This is just a quick post to share what I wore for Easter. I allowed Rosie to get in on these pictures too! :)
I hope those who celebrated Easter this weekend had a lovely Sunday! I was able to go home and have a nice long weekend with family.

white denim.

Top: Aeropostale c/o  |  Jeans: American Eagle  |  Sandals: Target  |  Bag: The Limited (on sale!)

It's time to break out the white jeans again. I love white jeans because they add a freshness to any look. I paired mine with this adorable navy button up and simple white sandals. It's definitely going to be a new "go-to" look for me!
Also I need to give a special thank you to my friend Margaret for taking these pictures for me! She's so talented!
Happy Easter (or Passover to my Jewish friends!)

easy breezy.

Top: Aeropostale c/o  |  Scarf: Aeropostale c/o  |  Jeans: F21  |  Flats: Jessica Simpson

I used to be a huge lover of scarves and this scarf has me falling in love all over again. Scarves are great for dressing up a basic top. I love this one because of the detailing and pop of color it has. It's just the right amount. This top is also really delicate with the lace detailing at the bottom. It steps up the basic grey tee a notch. Finishing off the look with sparkly flats makes this look effortless and girly.
It's perfect for lunch with a friend or a day of errand running (my favorite kind of look :) .
Have a beautiful day!

this or that: clean white sweater 2

Sweater: Aeropostale c/o  | Pants: Aeropostale (similar & similar | Shoes: Rocket Dog

This is part two of my 'this or that' series featuring this sweater (check out part one here). I've never been a huge camo person, but I've quite possibly fallen in love with these pants. My mom got them for me for Christmas and when the weather got warmer, I decided to break them out. They're fun and add a new twist to my wardrobe. I'm all about my neutrals and this a great way to mix up your neutrals. Adding a pop of color whether via a hand bag or lips is great too. I previously posted this look on Instagram paired with a bright pink lip. You can check it out HERE!
It's a fun trend to play with and either keep neutral or add in pops of color.
Which look is your favorite?

A fashion and lifestyle blog wouldn't be complete without sharing bits and pieces of my life with y'all. So here are so snap shots from my instagram. Be sure to follow me: @kateaustin3

1. Over my spring break I got to see my good friend Jacy. Catching up and talking about the blogging world is always so refreshing! It's also becoming a trend to take photos with our matching shoes.

2. I just started a Bible study with my good friend Madi and I'm so excited. Being able to learn more about God's word with a good friend is awesome! (Also black tea lemonade AKA Arnold Palmers are my go-to)

3. My small group got together to craft some mugs. After some browsing Pinterest for some inspiration I came up with this and I'm quite pleased with the result. Also, if you haven't noticed by now...I love Africa.

4. I also got to see my good friend Kelli over break! She's often times the one behind the camera for my posts. She rocks. (She was also dog sitting. Meet Penny!)

5. Have you heard of Serengetee? Oh you haven't? Well check them out! I plan to post a more in depth post about this awesome company in the near future. They're doing great things and deserve to be recognized for it.

6. Annnddd of course this post wouldn't be complete with out my home girls ;)

Lastly, I want to give a shout out to my roomie, Emi! She recently started a blog called Motivation Station. She posts really inspiring posts and I'm so excited she started this blog! I'm also so blessed to have her as a roommate. So click that link and show her some love!!

Until next time...

pink ombre.

Cardigan: Aeropostale c/o | Jeans: F21 | Necklace: F21 | Sandals: Target | Bag: The Limited

I want to say "SPRING IS HERE!" but every time I get that feeling it cools back down and I've jinxed it. It's like some horrible April Fools joke. (haha) But really, this winter has been brutal! I know we weren't hit as bad as some areas, but walking to class in negative temperatures wasn't what I'd call pleasant. So I'm welcoming spring with open arms!  I love this cardigan and the burnout, ombre feel it has. It's unique and gives my closet the punch of color it needs. I paired it with a layered statement necklace and my beloved Target sandals.
Maybe...just maybe...spring is coming soon?
