cute canvas DIY.

I recently posted this cute DIY on U lala and thought I'd share it on here! You can find the full post HERE
Also, happy game day! I'm at home spending the weekend with my family, but I'm beyond excited college football is here! GO TIGERS! :)

simplistic denim.

I love a good pair of jeans and these easily pass the test. From the moment I bought them, I've felt like I've been wearing them for years. They're not stiff and tight which are often things that make me cringe when putting jeans on. I'm definitely now a fan of the boyfriend trend in jeans. They're loose enough with out being baggy. To keep this look feminine and casual, I paired these jeans with a simple crochet top, a statement necklace, and my favorite Target sandals. It simply makes for the perfect everyday look.

Dress: Charlotte Russe |  Sandals: Target |  Sunnies: Amazon

With it nearing the end of August, the heat is still among us. That's why I love a good maxi. This faded fringe maxi is a piece I was excited to wear this summer after purchasing it this past spring. It's perfect for every day activities, but would also be perfect for a good outdoor concert. I paired it with my aztec printed sandals from Target to finish off the look!

Happy Friday!

hello, pink!

Top: The Limited (old) | Bottoms: Gap (old) | Shoes: Aldo | Bag: Giani Bini | Sunnies: Target

I'm backkk! Whew! I've had wonderful two weeks with my sorority sisters, but I'm so glad to be back on the blogging routine. Today was my first day of classes and they went well. Although I'm feeling under the weather, so fingers crossed this passes quickly.
Anyways! I got these Gap shorts on vacation last summer at an outlet (so sad I can't find more like them!) But they're such a fun, bright pop of color. Like I said in my floral post, it's all about mixing it up with fun bottoms in the summer and neons are so in! Do you have favorite pair of fun shorts?

P.S. Who else loves the shaken peach green tea lemonade from SBucks?

Top: Aeropostale c/o Shorts: Uniqlo Tennis Shoes: Rocket Dog Sunnies: Target

I'm not a huge fan of graphic tees but when I saw this tee I fell in love. I've always said that when I get older I will own a french bulldog and name her Eloise. Too cute, am I right? Also, we gotta talk about the fact I have a shorts problem. It wasn't until the other day when I was packing I realized the amount of shorts I own is ridiculous. What can I say? I love a variety of shorts.

I must also address the fact that this week is the worst I've slacked on my blog, but I have good reason!
This next week will be super busy for me too, so I won't be posting again until (fingers crossed) August 19th! See you then!

orange crush.

Dress: S.Y.L.K. | Headband: F21 | Wedges: Target | Small Bracelets: Express  | Chain Bracelet: Very Jane

I got this dress on sale in the winter and couldn't wait to wear it in the summer months. I must say, it would look much better with a tan. Being a working gal this summer got in the way of that. But before you say it, I know my skin will thank me years down the road! :) Anyways, I love the breeziness of this dress. It is way too perfect for summer and probably one of my favorite looks!

cool summer nights.

Sweater: Aeropostale c/o | Shorts: Aeropostale c/o | Bracelet: Very Jane | Sunnies: Amazon | Sandals: Target

I recently announced via Instagram that I'm partnering with Aeropostale to introduce their new fall line! Their new line is more mature and very versatile. I love this knit sweater that can easily transition into fall and winter. These boyfriend shorts are already a favorite piece of mine in my closet. They're so comfortable!
Be sure to shop Aero's new line. It's worth checking out!

{P.S. I'm cracking up over my puppy's face peeking out the window in the last picture!}
