how to: green smoothie

Happy Memorial Day!
I hope your weekends have been treating you well! I just got back from Dallas yesterday so things have been kinda of hectic and I'm behind on blogging. So today I wanted to share with you my version of the green smoothie. I'm not a cook what so ever but these are so easy to make. They're great for the summer and sneaking some veggies in make them so much healthier.

To start off, you'll need:

1 cup orange juice
1/2 cup vanilla yogurt
1/2 banana
1 cup (or a handful) baby spinach

I first blend my orange juice, yogurt, and banana.

I then add in my baby spinach which gives it that bright green color!
(I some times add in a couple ice cubes at that time too if I feel it isn't cold enough)

The orange juice and banana mask the spinach taste so you get the nutrients with out the taste!
There are so many ways to make this, but I use orange juice instead of milk because I'm lactose intolerant. If you do decide to try this, tell me in the comments!

  1. This looks delicious! I am going to have to try this!

  2. Tess and I have been getting into smoothies lately and I love this super simple version! I don't really care for spinach so if you can't taste it in this I will probably be a fan :)

I'm always so grateful for comments. Feedback is so encouraging and keeps me going! Thank you for taking time out of your day to do so!
