So I ran across this little challenge of blogging every day in May. I normally wouldn't take something like this on because the planner inside of me is freaking out. Which is all the more reason for me to do this. I need to get outside of my comfort zone and not worry about each post being perfect. I'll still post outfit posts on the days I already have planned out (of course), but I may forget, get busy, etc and skip a day of the challenge here and there. But I'm excited! You should join in too! If you do, comment below telling me!
Today's post is 250 words about myself:
I’m Kate. I’m 19 years old I’m finishing up my first year of
college at the University of Missouri. I’m an only child, so growing up I
learned to entertain myself and grow closer to my parents than most kids
usually do. Many people ask me if I like being an only child and my answer is
yes, because that’s all I’ve ever known. As many people in my life know, Africa
has a huge spot in my heart. It is yet another thing that bonds my parents and
I closer together. The trip alone shaped my life and perspectives on life
drastically. Which brings me to my faith. Being a Christian is something more
than just a label for me. It’s a relationship that has brought me through all
of my ups and downs. The Lord has humbled me and given me so many experiences, like Africa, that has formed who I am and I couldn’t be more thankful. My
favorite color is yellow. I have two cats and two dogs. Natural sunlight and
windows open are two of my favorite things. I don’t like to drive. I love
painting with watercolors and doodling. I’m starting to appreciate my height of
5’9”. You can spot me instantly in a crowd because of my super blonde hair.
Sweet tea always hits the spot. I’m lactose
intolerant, but love ice cream. I’m on Instagram way too much. One day I want
to own a French Bulldog named Eloise. I like to plan.
250 words exactly. I think.
